for children’s choir (SS) and piano (with optional solo violin)
Pie Jesu is the fourth movement taken from the composer’s Requiem (2020) for orchestra, SATB, soloists, and organ. This piece was the first Requiem movement composed before the full version in 2020. It was composed originally in 1997 for piano and soprano, with additional arrangements added in 2003, including versions for string orchestra, soprano and piano, and children’s choir (SS) and piano (with optional violin solo) seen here.
